Try your hand at basket weaving on a tiny scale. Use the same techniques as full-size baskets to weave small reed into little baskets just big enough to hold your stitch markers or tatting shuttle. Make your basket with or without a handle. Weave multiple designs as time permits.
Students bring an old towel, apron, (optional) utility scissors or yard clippers. The instructor will have some for class use. Instructor brings  reed and tools for class to use. Supply fee: $10 for reed. This is a beginner class. A little hand strength is required.
